Alkaline and Proton Exchange systems are below the efficiency threshold to compete with hydrocarbons for cost to the consumer without government subsidies. Only Solid Oxide Electrolysers have the efficiency required to produce green hydrogen economically.
That changes with pulsed power.
We know Pulsed Electrolysis can reach 90% efficiency, outperforming Proton Exchange Membrane and competing with Solid Oxide Electrolysers but at a much lower capital cost and facility footprint.
The challenge is not reaching high efficiency but a stack that scales for industrial integration. We are developing that stack.
Production at point of use becomes possible with Pulsed Electrolysis
